Changed Choices was desperate for a brand revival and required promotional deliverables to help it launch. Although this was technically a “school project” the deadlines we were working towards, inter-team dependencies, and client feedback loops were tangible, real life scenarios.

Our class was divided into three separate teams: brand, print, and digital. I was on the brand team that was responsible for the logo and rebrand that would be handed off to the other teams to implement.

Along with contributing to final logo and rebrand materials, I led the live pitch meeting with the client (Changed Choices.) I helped create the final presentation deck as well as volunteered to present because I had prior experience public speaking (and had been watching a lot of Mad Men at the time.)

Once the client approved our concept and creative direction, I worked as a brand consultant to the other Design teams, syncing on a weekly basis to ensure that the visual metaphor for the brand was cohesive across the varying deliverables.

As a part of the rebrand team, we had to work swiftly so as to not delay the digital or print team’s progress. We worked late hours in the studio and came in early in order to finalize designs.

Between our brand, print, and digital teams we were able to produce a variety of promotional materials for Changed Choices’ deployment. Deliverables ranged from basic brand components like updated social media profile images to a capital campaign to for donors. They also included an informative printed flyer to inform women where they can find meal and job assistance, housing, and mental health resources.
